Certain phases of my life
I sewed together seamlessly
but as the tied ends unravel
the only comfort is that God reveals such a silly me
oh,
I can't press my hands against the clouds
to hold their water
and I can't pull the colors from the rainbow
and ask them to change their pattern
love is everywhere
and I can't taint it
and though it's not how it's supposed to be
God will arrange it;
how much more does he care for us?
If the birds are taken care of
I wonder that if where I stand
All around me there's your hand
among such beauty I feel such panic
oh and I miss him so
but I tried to control
and where's there's a void
there's your voice
there's Your voice
I can't press my hands against the clouds
to hold their water
and I can't pull the colors from the rainbow
and ask them to change their pattern
love is everywhere
and I can't taint it
and though it's not how it's supposed to be
God will arrange it;
how much more does he care for us?
If the birds are taken care of
