My decision to do American Idol back in 2014 was one I never dreamed I would actually make, and is one of those decisions where I didn't know how wonderful and fulfilling being brave could be. Interviews make me so nervous (as you might be able to tell in my little documentary below), so being in front of 3 brilliant famous people, and dozens of qualified producers, and other musicians, and the world, absolutely terrified me.

 

I am grateful because American Idol treated me so well, and top 200 was the perfect amount of exposure for my preference and far more than I ever dreamed.

 

The short documentary below (thank you Ian Storck!) emphasizes how I am happy to be home and grow my music organically, but I did not say enough how I loved my American Idol experience.
