My Writing

I began an Instagram page on January 1, 2019 as a place to put my poems, thoughts, doodles, lyric ideas, and free writes. I use photos I take of myself or nature. A lot of the content is deeply self-reflective, bordering on too self-aware - full of metaphors, nostalgic experiences, laced with longing & threaded by hope. I named the page "floweryconcision" because you cannot convey a message in both a concise and flowery manner - it is contradictory. I like the idea of exploring the path to my root message or conclusion while relishing in the freedom of using language as an experimental art.
